For a few years, I dutifully carried that heavy backpack to countless locations – mountains, beaches, city streets, and remote trails. But with each adventure, the weight became more burdensome. I found myself choosing painting spots based on how close I could park rather than where the light was most beautiful.

That's when I realized something had to change. If I was going to truly embrace plein air painting, I needed equipment that wouldn't exhaust me before I even picked up a brush. So I decided to make my own.
